Emmie Burger�s switch of careers took an interesting twist in late June.
After a decade working in the medical field, the former Unicoi County Lady Blue Devil opted to join the school�s instructional staff.
Little did Burger know that would soon lead to a position on the athletic staff as well.
Former coach Tori Cutshall had seemingly been replaced earlier, but that fell through with Burger�s phone soon ringing now offering her the job.
