I regret to inform all of you that I have mistakenly recommended a company to you all that turned out to be a potential scam. AG Jewelers has recently been a hot topic among credit repair specialists due to their high credit limits, low start up cost, and reporting to all 3 credit bureaus. Like many others, I signed up to become one of their affiliates. Within days of signing a contract with them, they changed their policy and are no longer reporting to the credit bureaus, nor are they offering refunds. At this time, I do not know if it is a glitch due to their influx of new sign ups, or if they intentionally scammed customers. However, I can not consciously recommend them at this time. If you had an account with them that was reporting to your credit report, it will likely be removed. You may be compelled to file a dispute with your bank, or wait it out and see if they are experiencing a glitch, that choice is up to you. Below I am going to post the second paragraph of the contract I signed with them so you can see, I too was fooled.:
"Referral Source provides services, consulting, and/or advice to individuals seeking to repair or otherwise improve their credit rating among the three major credit reporting bureaus: Trans Union, Equifax, and Experian (the “Bureaus”). Referral Source wishes to be able to refer its members, customers, users, and/or viewers, to AGJ for the purpose of obtaining AGJ Store Cards to assist in approving the credit standing of such individuals."
Their website has also been changed to remove the statement explained how they report to the credit bureaus. I am deeply sorry for recommending this company to my clients and followers.
If you are needing help obtaining legitimate tradelines, I still highly recommend NCD and My Jewelers club. I stand by these companies as I have personal experience with them. Again, I am deeply sorry. -Larissa
