Buckle up, we're looking at some overnight closures as conditions worsen. The following highways will likely remain CLOSED OVERNIGHT in both directions:

- I-90 from North Bend to Ellensburg (MP 34-106)
- US 2 from west of the Summit to Coles Corner (MP 55-85)
- SR 410 from Enumclaw to Greenwater (MP 26-43)

MORE ON I-90: This highway has severe compact snow and ice, making for treacherous driving conditions with more weather on the way. Spring storms bring freeze/thaw/freeze conditions, essentially turning I-90 into an ice rink.

People currently on I-90 and trying to get off should contact Snoqualmie Pass Fire & Rescue. There is some access between Easton and Ellensburg via SR 10 and SR 97. But you cannot travel east from North Bend to Snoqualmie.

MORE ON US 2: People can leave the resort on WB US 2 Stevens Pass, but with I-90 Snoqualmie Pass closed, it's a long detour if you're trying to get back to Leavenworth.

Due to ongoing extreme weather conditions, the Enumclaw Expo Center has been receiving requests from livestock owners seeking emergency sheltering options. After assessment, we have identified approximately 70 horse stalls suitable for temporary livestock shelter (excluding hogs and dogs).
Emergency shelter will be available beginning 3:00 PM today, December 10, 2025, and will operate on a first-come, first-served basis for the next 7 days. Additional access details and public-facing instructions are posted on our website.

Please note that overnight caretaker staffing is not available at this time. All ingress to the facility will be routed through Gate 6, located at the far southeast corner of the property, to ensure controlled access.
The Expo Center is happy to step up and support our community during this weather event. ☔️☔️☔️

Windy weather has caused many outages throughout our service area, with the most damage in Pierce and Thurston counties. We've opened our Emergency Coordination Center and local storm bases to coordinate restoration efforts.

High winds and resulting tree damage downed not only smaller, local lines, but also larger transmission lines that bring power into communities. Once it's safe, crews will begin assessing damage and work to bring transmission lines back online; these lines need to be brought back into service before crews can focus on local distribution lines.

Yesterday’s high winds and rainy weather caused many outages around our service area.

Resulting tree damage not only downed the smaller, local power lines, but also damaged the larger transmission lines – the power lines that bring power into the communities. Transmission lines need to be brought back into service before crews can focus on the local distribution system within neighborhoods and communities. We dispatched helicopters this morning to these areas to assess damage to our transmission lines.

We understand how difficult it is to be without power. Crews will continue assessing damage and repairing power lines as quickly as they can. We’ve also brought in additional crews to help with restoration and our Emergency Coordination Center and local storm bases remain open 24/7 to coordinate restoration efforts.

We know customers need this information to make plans, and we’ll get it as soon as crews can safely make their assessments. Estimated restoration times will be updated on our outage map at http://ms.spr.ly/6182tBDY8 and the myPSE app.

🚍 Route 915 Service Extended to help alleviate the stress of the bridge closure 🚍

King County Metro’s DART Route 915 is now serving the Foothills Trail Bridge to help our community stay connected during the White River Bridge closure.

✅ Service begins Aug. 28–29 and Sept. 2–3 during commuting hours
�✅ Starting Sept. 4, extended service will run on all weekday trips
�✅ Riders can board at any Route 915 stop, including Enumclaw Middle School (550 Semanski St S) where free parking is available

This connection provides a vital link between Buckley and Enumclaw while repairs to the White River Bridge continue.
