Have you ever considered how much life insurance you need? I’ve often used the DIME method with my clients.
- D = Debt you have outside of your home
- I = Income, I recommend using 5x your annual income for this method
- M = Mortgage, what is the balance to pay off your existing mortgage?
- E = Education for your children, college expenses. I typically recommend using $10,000 per child per semester.
