Our Highstreet team had a fantastic week at the Fire Leadership Challenge in Keystone! We enjoyed so many insightful conversations and made plans for the future as we continue doing our part to protect Colorado’s fire districts. We also shared plenty of laughs reconnecting with old friends — and making new ones along the way. Thank you to the Colorado State Fire Chiefs for another impactful conference!🔥👩‍🚒

We had a great time supporting the Greater Brighton Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau at their Topgolf Chamber Cup! As the insurance partner of Brighton Fire Rescue, we’re proud to support the communities our clients serve. It was a pleasure spending time with Fire Chief Garrison and some of his team, and learning more about the city’s exciting growth from the Chamber leadership team!

A brilliant alternative to a traditional golf tournament — everyone got to mingle and enjoy each other’s company, instead of being locked into a foursome all day. Even non-golfers could join the fun!

Our thoughts are with the Elbert County community as they begin to recover from Sunday’s tornado. We’re especially mindful of the Rattlesnake Fire Protection District and Chief Cass Kilduff, who was on the ground supporting response efforts and was interviewed in the coverage linked below.
We’re proud to partner with Rattlesnake FPD and are grateful for their leadership and dedication in the face of such difficult conditions. Wishing safety and strength to all involved in the cleanup and recovery.

Nineteen homes in the Elkhorn neighborhood were hit by the storm, according to the Rattlesnake Fire Department.

We’re thrilled to celebrate a remarkable milestone for our client, Chaffee County Fire Protection District, and for Chief Kira Jones, who has become the first female fire chief in Chaffee County.

With more than a decade of service in the district and a recent transition from interim to official chief, Chief Jones is not only making history—she’s shaping the future. In a field where women make up just 6% of fire chiefs nationwide, her leadership is a powerful example of progress and possibility.

Our recent team-building event was the perfect mix of challenge, competition, and camaraderie. From learning new techniques to cheering each other on, we leaned into the experience with full energy—and a healthy dose of competitive spirit.

What stood out most? The support we showed one another, the drive that keeps us hungry to grow, and the solid team dynamic that makes us proud to be part of this crew.
