As a financial advisor and speaker, Ron Anno takes a different approach to financial guidance by working, when possible, with his clients’ attorneys and accountants to create tax-efficient investment plans. "I’ve had an opportunity to see what works and what
doesn’t work when it comes to creating a financial plan,” Ron said. “My main focus when creating a plan is to help my clients achieve their financial goal of not outliving their money during retirement.”
Ron began his career 35 years ago in the insurance business. Starting as a field salesman at United Insurance Companies Inc., he very quickly rose through the ranks to a senior manager and was recognized as #1 National Manager of the Year. Ron was the co-founder of NT Securities, which had offices in downtown Chicago at the Chicago Board of Trade. NT Securities serviced clients in over 50 different countries, and Ron eventually sold his interest in the company. He served on the Board of Directors and as a consultant to Fiji Trading Company for over seven years and served as president of S.C.O.T. Financial Services Inc. for over 14 years. Ron has passed the Series 65 securities exam and also holds Florida insurance licenses 215 and 218, offering insurance-based solutions through his insurance firm Safe Money Financial Solutions, LLC. He has written articles for Kiplinger, Yahoo! Finance and Senior News and conducted numerous radio interviews. He is also the author of the book “Wall Street and Your Retirement.”
Ron lives in Sarasota, Florida, with his wife, Debra. They have three adult children and two beautiful granddaughters. Safe Money Financial Solutions, LLC is also an investment advisory practice that offers products and services through AE Wealth Management, LLC (AEWM), a registered investment adviser.
