Decided to take a night off from working on the flip. Of course a night off isn’t really a night off when you have projects at going on at home too. We definitely made some progress. Depending on how the photos turn out we did an interesting paint comparison between Sherwin Williams and Behr. Let’s see how it dries but you might be shocked at the results. It may not be apples to apples but I’ll explain everything in a separate post with photos.

Just saw this flashing icon on our dryer the other day. Apparently it means it’s time to clean your dryer vent. While i didn’t do a full on clean here’s what I grabbed with a simple whiz paint roller frame down the lint trap. Probably time to do a full on clean out. Obviously this is the lint NOT captured in the lint trap as we clean it out after every dry cycle. PSA, everyone might want want to do this regularly to not burn your house down. Just saying.

Getting one chance to make this room check all the boxes such as an outlet behind the tv, hidden cables, access to coaxial cable for network tv, and a hidden CAT5e cable for a hardwired tv to the router before the drywall goes up tomorrow. Picked up some lighting for the basement and wired them in. I am really enjoying the halo, night light, effect. I think it will look great for a tv/theater room. It definitely took me longer than I’d like to admit to get the light switch to work. Additionally, nothing was grounded down here so I had to phone a friend to get some suggestions but everything is working. Adding insulation later tonight.
