Emporia State Federal Credit Union began as a small financial institution in July of 1937, serving a "field of membership" of employees of two Emporia cooperatives. Through the years, ESFCU has continued to grow and expand while still preserving it's roots in the Emporia community. Our current field of membership includes:

ESU Foundation, Unified School Districts of: Lyon, Coffey, Greenwood, Chase, Morris and Osage Counties, Emporia State Federal Credit Union, Flint Hills Technical College and Newman Regional Health who work in, or are paid or supervised from Emporia, KS,
Students of: ESU, FHTC, and USD253,
Members of: ESU Alumni Association who live in Lyon, Osage, Coffey, Chase, Morris, Greenwood and Wabaunsee Counties,
