IT/Network Specialist
Starting at $65,490.00 annually - Full Time
POSITION DESCRIPTION:�This position is responsible for maintaining the Bank’s information technology systems, infrastructure, and security while ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The IT/Network Specialist provides technical support to employees, administers network systems, and assists in cybersecurity, compliance, and strategic IT initiatives.
This role works closely with Bank personnel and third-party vendors to ensure all IT systems remain secure, functional, and up to date.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:�• Maintain IT equipment including servers, routers, switches, workstations, printers, and scanners�• Stage, install, and relocate IT equipment and cabling as needed�• Support and update core processing software and ancillary systems�• All aspects of IT security including firewall alerts and reports, wireless, antivirus, logs, etc.�• Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, secure email, and email archiving�• Review vulnerability and log reports�• Establish and maintain network permissions�• Provide IT issue resolution, recovery, troubleshooting, and reporting�• Maintain IT policies and procedures and vendor due diligence�• Maintain documentation of all equipment, topology, system changes, etc.�• Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for IT equipment purchases�• Complete IT/Cybersecurity risk assessments�• Assist with IT strategic planning and budgeting�• Support business continuity and cybersecurity program�• Conduct and/or participate in IT/Cybersecurity training and testing initiatives�• Conduct and document backup system testing�• Participate in IT audits and exams�• Attend IT Committee meetings�• Provide reports for auditors, examiners, and Board Directors�• Perform other IT-related duties as assigned�• May require after-hours or on-call work
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:�• Bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred�• 2–5 years’ IT experience preferred�• Experience with networks, systems, and cybersecurity�• Experience with windows server administration�• Familiarity with Office 365 and banking systems preferred�• CompTIA A+ or similar certifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:�• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills�• Knowledge of networking and system infrastructure�• Understanding of cybersecurity practices�• Ability to multitask and prioritize�• Strong communication skills�• Attention to detail
COMPLIANCE:�The incumbent must maintain knowledge of applicable banking regulations, data protection laws (GLBA) and IT security requirements.
