Back to school season is here, and that means it's time to slow down and stay alert.

Whether you're driving through a school zone, stopping for a school bus, or watching for kids at crosswalks, your extra attention helps keep our communities safe.

Glad we got the opportunity to sponsor our local show!

Nothing beats this chute at the Black Canyon Stock Show & Rodeo!

A huge thank you to Idaho Farm Bureau Federation for everything they do to support Idaho’s agriculture families. Your commitment to our producers and to programs like Miss Rodeo Idaho helps keep our western way of life strong.

I’m so grateful for your support throughout my year and proud to represent an organization that believes in the future of agriculture.

This has been one of the biggest topics we discuss with new clients. A good rule of thumb is to have as much liability coverage as you have assets. There are way too many people running around with state minimum coverages that put everyone else at risk!

Vehicles cost more. Medical bills cost more. Repair costs cost more. Has your liability coverage kept up?

If you're found at fault in a serious accident, your liability coverage may help protect your finances, but only up to the limits you've selected. A quick coverage review can help ensure your protection still fits today's world.

Local company equals local rates. We can also cover rural areas that major companies are dropping!

Working with a local insurance company means having coverage that’s built for the way Idaho families live and play. If you have questions about your coverage or want a second look, find your local agent here: https://www.idahofarmbureauinsurance.com/find-an-agent/

Is your kid to old to qualify for the Trump account? There is another option that you can do locally! We can sell an Indexed Universal Life policy that you can control privately that will work in similar ways. The IUL is also invested in indexed accounts and has tax deferred growth. The plus side is it also has a death benefit and can give your child a head start on “Permanent Life Insurance” if they choose to not cash out the policy. If you are interested in creating one of these accounts, please reach out or call the office 208-365-5382!

Beware of those door knockers! When someone knocks on your door and tells you that they can get your insurance to buy you a new roof, Run! They don’t know your coverages or the implications that come with turning in a claim of this nature. Always talk to your agent before you make these decisions!

The following are common red flags homeowners should watch for when door-to-door roofers or public adjusters appear after severe weather.

Be cautious if someone:
🚩 Knocks on your door unsolicited claiming to be an insurance “expert” or adjuster
🚩 Says your insurance company must pay for a full roof replacement
🚩 Uses your neighbor’s claim as proof of what you should receive
🚩 Promises free services, free upgrades, or says they’ll waive your deductible
🚩 Pressures you to sign a contract before reviewing it or without a detailed estimate
🚩 Can’t or won’t provide references for past work
🚩 Refuses to show proof of General Liability or Workers’ Compensation insurance

In the event your property has suffered storm damage, please contact your agent or our 24/7 Claimsline at (888) 432-4527 to file a claim. Our adjusters will contact you to schedule a property inspection.

With Christmas coming we wanted to say thank you to all of you who made our year so special! We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and hope you get to spend much needed time with your families! With that we are giving our staff some time off for the holidays. We will be closed Christmas Eve 24th through Friday December 26th.

Don’t forget the real meaning of why we are celebrating and I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!

“And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬-‭11‬ ‭KJV‬‬
