Is your kid to old to qualify for the Trump account? There is another option that you can do locally! We can sell an Indexed Universal Life policy that you can control privately that will work in similar ways. The IUL is also invested in indexed accounts and has tax deferred growth. The plus side is it also has a death benefit and can give your child a head start on “Permanent Life Insurance” if they choose to not cash out the policy. Beware of those door knockers! When someone knocks on your door and tells you that they can get your insurance to buy you a new roof, Run! They don’t know your coverages or the implications that come with turning in a claim of this nature. Always talk to your agent before you make these decisions!

The following are common red flags homeowners should watch for when door-to-door roofers or public adjusters appear after severe weather.

Be cautious if someone:
🚩 Knocks on your door unsolicited claiming to be an insurance “expert” or adjuster
🚩 Says your insurance company must pay for a full roof replacement
🚩 Uses your neighbor’s claim as proof of what you should receive
🚩 Promises free services, free upgrades, or says they’ll waive your deductible
🚩 Pressures you to sign a contract before reviewing it or without a detailed estimate
🚩 Can’t or won’t provide references for past work
🚩 Refuses to show proof of General Liability or Workers’ Compensation insurance

With Christmas coming we wanted to say thank you to all of you who made our year so special! We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and hope you get to spend much needed time with your families! With that we are giving our staff some time off for the holidays. We will be closed Christmas Eve 24th through Friday December 26th.

This is a growing issue in our state with national carriers. Especially those with California ties. Farm Bureau is Idaho only, so we did not see the catastrophic claims like other companies.
