As a family, black families have 7.7% of the wealth that white families have.
Single black women have less than .3% of the wealth that single white women have!!
That is less than 1/3 of one percent!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is bananas to me.
What's the solution??
It starts with educating ourselves on financial literacy concepts. Basic fundamental concepts are essential in creating a sound financial foundation for ourselves and our families.
I recently joined the campaign to help 30 million families by 2030 establish strong financial foundations. My personal goal for 2024 is to help 1500 families. **Yikes** 😮💨😅😆🤣😂
To accomplish this personal goal, I will be scheduling private zoom and in person meetings to introduce people to our financial literacy campaign, inviting people to the regularly scheduled FREE financial literacy workshops every Tuesday at 7pm CST and Saturday at 10am CST, and ultimately teaching regularly scheduled FREE financial literacy workshops to groups both in person and via zoom.
