As the days get shorter and deer become more active, the risk of collisions on the road increases. Stay alert and remember a few smart tips:
-Slow down when you see a deer crossing sign. They’re placed where accidents are most common.
-If you see one deer, expect more. They rarely travel alone.
-Never swerve suddenly to avoid a deer. It can cause a more serious accident.
