CATIC Title is delighted to welcome back Albino Caporale as President of CATIC Exchange. Mr. Caporale previously served in this role from 2017 until 2023.

With over ten years of experience, Al has established himself as a reputable figure in the 1031 exchange industry. He holds the Certified Exchange Specialist (CES) designation from the Federation of Exchange Accommodators (FEA). This designation is awarded to professionals who have demonstrated significant expertise in the 1031 exchange process.

Al is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and holds a Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law. He is a licensed attorney in Connecticut. He previously served as the President of FEA and has been a member of its Board of Directors since 2020.

We are excited to announce the newest addition to our CATIC Commercial team, Carole Anne White, who joins us as a Commercial Paralegal supporting our National Commercial Services group. In this role, Carole will assist with commercial real estate transactions, prepare and review title commitments and pro forma policies, coordinate pre-closing and post-closing activities, and support the delivery of exceptional service to our commercial clients and underwriting teams. Her extensive commercial title and real estate experience make her a valuable addition to our team.

Prior to joining CATIC, Carole Anne White most recently served as a Commercial Paralegal with a national Title Insurance Company, where she performed all pre-closing and post-closing duties for commercial title transactions. Her responsibilities included ordering title searches and municipal lien certificates, preparing and linking title commitments, drafting and revising pro forma policies, requesting closing protection letters, recording post-closing documents, filing UCCs, issuing final title policies, conducting title updates and issuing date-down endorsements for construction loan transactions. She also managed escrow accounts, completed monthly reconciliations, and coordinated wire transfers.

Prior to her title insurance experience, Carole Anne served as a Legal Assistant with Skillsoft Corporation, where she reviewed contracts, coordinated non-disclosure agreements, worked with outside counsel on trademark matters, and supported facilities and insurance-related legal functions.

Carole earned a Paralegal Certificate from Northeastern University, a Master of Management from Cambridge College, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maine. She is also a Massachusetts Notary Public.

We are excited to announce the newest addition to our CATIC Commercial team, Jill O’Connor, who joins us as a Senior Commercial Paralegal. In this role, Jill will support commercial real estate transactions, assist with the preparation of title commitments and pro forma policies, coordinate recordings, and post-closing activities, and help ensure the timely and accurate completion of commercial title matters. Her extensive experience in title insurance and real estate transactions makes her a valuable addition to our team.

Prior to joining CATIC, Jill most recently served as a Senior Title Officer with a national Title Insurance Company, where she ordered title searches, prepared title commitments, pro forma policies and closing statements, coordinated recordings, and handled post-closing updates and endorsements, with a significant focus on commercial transactions.

Jill joins CATIC with many years’ experience as a Real Estate Paralegal, having worked at several reputable law firms in the Hartford area over the course of her career, including Tavano, McCuin and Bonanno, LLC, McCalla Raymer Leibert Pierce and Hassett & George, P.C.

Jill earned an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Tunxis Community Technical College and holds a Paralegal Certificate from the National Academy for Paralegal Studies.

We are excited to announce the newest addition to our Southeast team, Carolyn Kapitan, who joins us as Quality Control Manager supporting our Florida production operations. In this role, Carolyn will oversee quality assurance and quality control processes, support operational consistency and continuous improvement, and partner with title production professionals to promote accuracy, efficiency, and service excellence. Her extensive experience in Florida title examination, employee development, quality assurance, and process improvement make her a valuable addition to our team.

Prior to joining CATIC, Carolyn most recently served as Branch Education Manager with a national Title Insurance Company, where she led a title examiner-focused education department supporting examiners and other production employees across multiple locations. In this role, she managed a team of trainers, developed onboarding and professional development programs, partnered with business leaders to identify skill gaps, and aligned learning strategies with production priorities and underwriting requirements.

Carolyn also brings instructional design experience from her work with Applied Learning Systems, where she developed facilitator guides, participant manuals, job aids, playbooks, and other performance-support materials. She also delivered train-the-trainer programs and conducted training needs assessments to create learning solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

Carolyn earned a Master of Science in Instructional Development and Technology from St. Cloud State University and a Bachelor of Arts from Purchase College, State University of New York. She also holds an Instructional Design Certificate from The eLearning Designer’s Academy and an ALeSys Certified Learning Manager credential.

We are excited to announce the newest addition to our Florida CATIC Business Development team, James Netska, who joins us as an Agency Advisor. In this role, James will focus on building and strengthening agent relationships, identifying new business development opportunities, supporting sales and service initiatives, and helping expand CATIC's presence throughout the Florida market. His background in B2B sales, consultative client service, business development, and prior experience with CATIC make him a valuable addition to our team.

Prior to joining CATIC, James most recently served as a Business Sales Executive, Fiber with AT&T Business, where he managed dedicated and shared fiber internet solutions for small and mid-sized businesses across Southeast Florida territory. In this role, he used a consultative sales approach to deliver customized network infrastructure solutions, developed new business through prospecting and referrals, and consistently exceeded monthly sales targets.

Previously, James served as a Business Sales Executive, Mobility with AT&T Business, where he managed B2B mobility accounts, built and maintained a strong prospect pipeline, and delivered tailored mobility solutions to meet customer-specific needs. He also worked as a Consultant with Thomas Howell Ferguson P.A. CPAs, supporting recovery projects, financial monitoring and reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and client service initiatives.

James also brings prior experience with CATIC, having served as an Audit Intern, where he assisted with audits of escrow, IOLTA, and reconciliation reports, supported audit planning, documented audit procedures, and monitored Florida laws and regulations related to client and agent compliance.

We are excited to announce the newest addition to our Business Development team, John (Jack) Doherty, who joins us as an Agency Advisor supporting our Pennsylvania and New Jersey markets. In this role, Jack will focus on building and strengthening agent relationships, identifying growth opportunities, delivering exceptional service to existing clients, and helping expand CATIC's presence throughout the region. His strong sales background, analytical mindset, and commitment to customer service make him an excellent addition to our team.

Prior to joining CATIC, Jack most recently served as a Sales Associate with CoStar Group, where he executed strategic business plans to drive revenue growth across a multi-state territory that included Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. In this role, he developed new business opportunities, managed existing client relationships, delivered consultative sales presentations, and provided onboarding, training, and ongoing support to clients. During his tenure, Jack achieved 130% of quota while maintaining a strong focus on client service and retention.

Previously, Jack worked as an Associate Account Executive with Johnson & Johnson, where he supported medical device sales and education initiatives, and as a Production Analyst with CBRE, where he was responsible for financial underwriting, market analysis, marketing, and transaction management for commercial real estate financing. In that role, he helped close more than $850 million in commercial real estate transactions and gained valuable experience in relationship management, market research, and business development.

Jack earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Saint Joseph's University, where he completed coursework in marketing, finance, and accounting. He also participated in a study abroad program in Madrid, Spain, and served as President and Team Coach/Captain of the university's men's club basketball team.
