⚡Meet the Newest Power Behind the People: Anton Go

We’re excited to welcome Anton Go to the Power Three Insurance Group family!

Anton joins our Commercial Insurance team with three years of industry experience and knowledge across a wide variety of businesses. His goal is simple: provide clients with a hassle-free insurance experience—from the initial quote through binding—so they can focus on running their companies with confidence.

What does Anton enjoy most about his role? Giving business owners peace of mind and showing them that insurance doesn’t have to be complicated. He believes policies and coverages can be explained clearly enough for anyone to understand—no insurance dictionary required. 📖

Now for the fun stuff:

📍 He grew up in Manila, Metro Manila
🐶 He enjoys training birds and dogs
🌱 He tends to his own backyard garden
🚴 He stays active through cycling, weightlifting, and calisthenics
🎬 He’s a serious cinephile
🐦 He enjoys birdwatching, nature, and beach trips
🏀 He’s been a San Antonio Spurs fan since the Twin Towers era and is now fully invested in the Wemby era... this guy knows his stuff!

Anton also earned a degree in Philosophy because a high school classmate wrote it on his college application. Apparently, some of life’s biggest decisions really do begin with someone else holding the pen. 😂

And that’s not his only plot twist—Anton once played lead guitar and rapped in a band! 🎸🎤

His office superpower is creating a seamless experience for clients and handling their insurance needs from start to finish. His coworkers would describe him as analytical, helpful, and curious.

Anton’s favorite part of Power Three so far is the organization, great people, and welcoming culture.

🚗😂 **WILL JUST HANDED ED HIS CAR KEYS… WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?!**

Will C Miller and Eddie Rodriguez are two of our trusted insurance professionals here at Power Three.

But apparently, that trust extends beyond insurance policies.

Today, Will decided to hand Ed the keys to his car.

Ed looks pretty confident.

Will looks like he's already questioning his decision. 😂

But this brings up a question that a LOT of people get wrong:

🚨 **If you let someone borrow your car and they get into an accident, whose insurance pays?**

You might think the driver's insurance automatically covers everything.

**Not necessarily!**

Here's what you need to know:

🔑 **1. Insurance often follows the CAR, not the driver.**
If you give someone permission to drive your vehicle, your auto insurance is often the primary coverage if an accident occurs.

💸 **2. Your deductible could become YOUR problem.**
Even if you weren't driving, your collision deductible may apply if you file a covered claim for damage to your vehicle.

⚠️ **3. Not everyone is automatically covered.**
Excluded drivers, household members, regular vehicle use, and policy restrictions can create unexpected coverage issues.

⚡ **POWER TIP:** Before handing over your keys, make sure you understand who is covered under your auto policy. A quick conversation with your insurance agent could save you a major headache later.

Today, our very own **Nico Lappo, Vice President of Power Three Insurance Group, along with his wife, son, and family**, celebrated Columbus Day in Chicago by participating in the parade!

For Nico, it's more than just a parade. It's an opportunity to celebrate his Italian heritage, spend time with family, and begin passing down traditions to his son.

If Employee Benefits comes with 100 moving parts, Deena is the person who somehow keeps track of all 101. 😉

⚡Meet Deena Sarno, our Director of Operations for Employee Benefits!

Deena has spent six years with Power Three and in the insurance industry. She loves that every day brings something different—a problem to solve, a client to help, or a complicated benefits decision to make easier.

One of her favorite parts of the job is attending employee meetings. She gets to put faces to the names she works with while helping employees understand their benefits without needing a translator, flowchart, or advanced degree.

What might surprise clients? A lot happens before a benefits plan is ready. Deena and her team compare provider networks, costs, plan designs, carriers, and employee needs to find the right fit. Picking a health plan is only the beginning!

Now for the fun stuff:

❤️ She and her husband have a baby boy, with baby number two on the way!!!
🎨 She enjoys crafting and reading—when family life allows a quiet minute
⚾🏈 She cheers for the Cubs and Bears, so patience clearly isn’t a problem

Deena’s office superpower is keeping every detail straight—which is useful when “one quick benefits question” arrives with 14 attachments, three spreadsheets, and a deadline of yesterday. 😂

Her coworkers describe her as reliable, helpful, and positive.

Her favorite part of Power Three?

🎃 Your Halloween decorations look incredible.
Your insurance agent sees an electrical fire, a trip-and-fall claim, and a lawsuit. 😂

We love the house that goes ALL OUT for Halloween.
12-foot skeleton? Absolutely.
Fog machine? Obviously.
Enough extension cords to power a small municipality? Now we're getting nervous. 😬

Before the neighborhood arrives for trick-or-treating, take 5 minutes and look at your masterpiece like an insurance adjuster:
🔌 Extension cords everywhere? Make sure they're rated for outdoor use, in good condition, and aren't creating an electrical or tripping hazard.
👻 Decorations taking over the walkway? Remember, kids in costumes aren't exactly known for carefully watching where they're walking.
💡 Going for the creepy, pitch-black look? Keep stairs and walking surfaces well lit enough for visitors to safely navigate.
🎃 Pumpkins, cords and decorations on the steps? Give people a clear path to the door.

💪 POWER TIP: Walk from the sidewalk to your front door pretending you've never been to your house before. If you can trip over it, run into it or accidentally set it on fire…fix it. 😂

It’s Thursday, which means it’s time to introduce another person who helps put the “Power” in Power Three!

Meet Ron Peña, who was recently promoted to **Director of Customer Service—Commercial Lines!** 🎉

Ron joined Power Three in April 2024 and has three and a half years of insurance experience. He specializes in supporting commercial accounts and helping keep the many details behind each policy organized and moving forward.

His recent promotion reflects the speed, efficiency, and reliability he brings to our clients and team every day. We’re excited to see Ron continue growing and taking on this well-earned leadership role!

What does Ron enjoy most about his job? Being surrounded by great people. He also appreciates the friendly, supportive environment at Power Three, where everyone is always willing to lend a hand.

One thing clients may be surprised to learn about insurance is how much patience it can require. Whether we’re waiting for information from a client or a response from an underwriter, accounting, or claims, Ron knows good follow-up is essential—and sometimes the waiting game deserves its own coverage. 😂

📍 Ron grew up in Bocaue, Philippines—often called the “Fireworks Capital of the Philippines”
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 He has four siblings and is the fourth child

🎮 He enjoys buying video games—even if he rarely gets around to playing them

Ron’s office superpower? Certificates of Insurance. Give him a COI request, and he is in his element. 🦸‍♂️📄

His coworkers would describe him as fast, efficient, and reliable—although Ron modestly added, “hopefully.” We think the promotion speaks for itself!

Our Owner Joe Borsellino, who is on the Agents Advisory Council for Illinois Casualty Company got the opportunity to travel to Nashville. This opportunity is an amazing and important trip for us. The meeting brings agency owners from all over the country to see where the market is going and how we can be ahead of any potential challenges. Thank you to ICC for putting together a great event and can’t wait for the next one!

🌽 Power Three in the Community | Fischer Farms Harvest Fest 🎃

This past weekend, Power Three Insurance Group was proud to volunteer at Fischer Farms’ Annual Harvest Fest!

Our own , , .gerin, and spent the day helping out around the farm, including lending a hand with the wagon rides and welcoming families out to enjoy a beautiful fall day. 🍂🚜

For us, being an independent, locally owned agency means being part of the community we serve. Giving back isn’t something we want to simply talk about — we want our team to get out there, roll up our sleeves, and be involved.

A huge thank you to Fischer Farms for inviting Power Three to be part of such a great event. We had an awesome time volunteering and seeing so many families come out and enjoy the farm.

💼 Tip Tuesday: January 1 Means Back to $0

As we head toward 2027, here’s an Employee Benefits reminder that can easily get overlooked:
For many health plans, deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums reset on January 1.

That means even if you’ve already met your deductible or reached your out-of-pocket maximum in 2026, you may be starting over when the new plan year begins.

📅 Why does that matter?
If you’ve already met your deductible or out-of-pocket maximum for 2026, the final months of the year may be a good time to take care of eligible healthcare needs you’ve been putting off.

Think about:
🩺 Follow-up appointments or specialist visits
🔬 Lab work or diagnostic testing
🏥 Planned procedures
💪 Physical therapy or other ongoing treatment
💊 Prescription refills, when appropriate
👓 Other covered healthcare services

Once January 1, 2027 arrives, employees on calendar-year plans may once again be responsible for their deductible, copays and coinsurance until the new year’s limits are reached.

💪 Power Tip: Check your current deductible and out-of-pocket totals now. If you’ve already met or are close to meeting them, review any healthcare needs you’ve been postponing and talk with your providers about whether completing them before year-end makes sense.

For employers, this is a great reminder that Employee Benefits isn’t just about choosing a health plan. Helping employees understand how and when to use their benefits can make the coverage you provide much more valuable.
