The weather has finally improved in WNY, and if you're like some of us, you might have dragged the grill out and officially kicked off Grilling Season 2026🔥

A few quick reminders to help avoid some very preventable homeowners claims this grilling season:

🔥 Keep grills away from siding, railings, decks, and overhangs
🔥 Never leave a hot grill unattended, even for a few minutes
🔥 Check propane tanks and gas lines for wear or leaks
🔥 Clean grease buildup regularly to help prevent flare-ups and grease fires

Most grilling accidents happen fast, and the damage can get expensive even faster. A little extra attention around the grill can go a long way toward preventing a costly homeowners claim.
