Karen Norlin – Wenatchee Branch – Loan Officer

LOYAL, WITTY, GREAT MOTHER
These are the words that her Wenatchee teammates used to describe Karen Norlin. I had the chance to sit down with Karen and get to know some of her story, her life passions and her journey along the way. Here’s some of the details from our time together.

As a Wenatchee native, Karen has been in the mortgage industry for 31 years. 17 of those years were spent as a mortgage broker in Wenatchee (Karen Norlin & Associates). Married, two children and one grandchild (almost 3 years old!), Karen loves being a mother. Her affinity for people shines through her service and she has been a fantastic addition to the Wenatchee team.

Karen tells me that helping clients become educated is one of the most rewarding pieces of her job. She is also a natural problem solver, helping her clients unpack the puzzle that the mortgage process can sometimes be. She is always looking to for ways to empower her clients at every turn.

During her day-to-day, Karen looks forward to spending time with the team and having fun together. I can attest, the

Wenatchee Branch is always having a good time!

Outside of work, Karen goes on walks with her buddies, scrapbooks and is an avid pinochle player.

Brian Jones – Yakima Branch – Loan Officer, Branch Manager

Principled, Zealous, Fully Engaged

These are the words that his Yakima teammates used to describe Brian Jones. I had the chance to sit down with Brian and get to know some of his story, his life passions and his journey along the way. Here’s some of the details from our time together.

Brian started with the team 9 years ago and was the first loan officer hired by Cornerstone in the northwest region. He has been married for 27 ½ years and has two daughters that are 20 and 17 years old.

Every day Brian looks forward to meeting new people in the industry and the variety that comes with each loan. Assisting clients in obtaining one of the greatest goals in their lives has been the most rewarding aspect of working in the industry for him.

Outside of the office Brian is involved as a co-pastor of a church, dog breeder, mini-farm owner and motivational speaker. But for Brian, being around the dinner table with his family while listening and deepening his relationship with them, is what he enjoys most.

Cornerstone Employee Introduction Series! Featuring Mallory Holtman

Mallory Holtman – Ellensburg Branch – Loan Officer Assistant

Thoughtful, Compassionate, Active Mom

These are the words that her Ellensburg teammates used to describe Mallory Holtman. I had the chance to sit down with Mallory and get to know some of her story, her life passions and her journey along the way. Here’s some of the details from our time together.

Mallory joined the Cornerstone team in Ellensburg during the summer of 2016 after working as an escrow and title assistant in town. She grew up in White Salmon and moved to Ellensburg to attend Central Washington University and play softball.

During the day-to-day, Mallory says she finds joy when interacting with clients and families. She also added that buying a house is quite the accomplishment. As she assists first time home buyers, it is always rewarding to tell them that loan has been recorded and hear their excitement!

Outside of the workplace, Malory loves going to tee-ball with her 5-year-old son, fishing with her husband and doing crafts. Also, she is a wicked softball player. During her softball career at Central she won the 2008 “Best Moment ESPY Award”. She then went on to coach the Central team for 5 years.

DAVIS HALLE – WENATCHEE BRANCH – LOAN OFFICER ASSISTANT

PATIENT, EVEN-KEELED, FAMILY ORIENTED

These are the words that his Wenatchee teammates used to describe Davis Halle. I had the chance to sit down with Davis and get to know some of his story, his life passions and his journey along the way. Here’s some of the details from our time together.

After graduating from Northwest Nazarene University and working in the medical field as an administrative assistant in North Seattle, Davis started his career with Cornerstone at the Wenatchee branch in the summer of 2016. He was referred to our team through Kerry Day after he and his wife purchased their first home using Cornerstone Home Lending.

Davis says he finds the most rewarding aspect of his job is creating a unique and comfortable space for clients to relax and have fun during the loan process. During his day-to-day,
Davis enjoys the details and the data-entry, conversations with clients and having fun with the team.

Davis is married with a 16-month-old daughter and a child on the way. As a dad, Davis loves sharing moments with his daughter and wife where they both feel free to be a little goofy and just have fun.

Outside of work, Davis pursues rock climbing, golf and exploring the outdoors with his family.

DAVIS HALLE: PATIENT, EVEN-KEELED, FAMILY ORIENTED. I’d have to agree. I’d add “fun” and “sweet beard” to that list!
