The months U.S. drivers are most likely to collide with a large animal are November, October and December. (In that order) Follow these tips to help increase your safety on the road!

Stay alert. Scan the road for animals and pay attention to "deer crossing" and other animal signs.

Reduce distractions. Put your cell phone away. It can help you avoid injuring motorcyclists, bicyclists, pedestrians and animals too.

Slow down, especially if you see an animal close to the road.

Brake as necessary. If you can avoid hitting the animal, reduce your speed, honk your horn and tap your brakes to warn other drivers.

Don't swerve. If a crash with an animal is inevitable, maintain control of your vehicle and do not veer off of the road.

Use high beams. Flicking your high beams on a deer may cause the animal to scurry away.

Be mindful of meal time. Watch for animals on the road between dusk and dawn.

Watch for herds. If you see one deer, there are probably more nearby.

It is estimated that 43,000 patients die each year from aortic diseases.

Increased awareness is critical in managing the condition and reducing the high risk of rupture and death.

Every 33 seconds someone dies in the US from cardiovascular diseases - roughly equivalent to a September 11th - like tragedy repeating itself every 24 hours, 365 days a year.

In 2025 more than 605,000 Americans had a heart attack; nearly half of them occurred without prior symptoms or warning signs!

Current estimates are that nearly 6.5 million Americans over the age of 20 have heart failure.

One major study estimates there are 960,000 new heart failure cases annually.

Not only is heart failure a major problem affecting many people, heart failure is also a major killer.
