The West Virginia Wild and Wonderful Celtic Festival is a vibrant celebration for all ages, featuring live Celtic music from talented musicians, offering both traditional and contemporary sounds. Attendees can enjoy performances ranging from lively jigs to soulful ballads. The festival also showcases Highland dancing, with skilled dancers in traditional attire, and athletic games like the iconic caber toss. Hear the haunting sounds of bagpipes echoing through the valley. Fitness enthusiasts can participate in a kilted 5K run through picturesque landscapes, while children enjoy activities such as face painting, crafts, hula hoop lessons, and a four-leaf clover hunt. Animal lovers can interact with animals such as Highland cows, sheepdogs, and Irish Wolfhounds. Leashed dogs are welcome at our festival! The festival serves as a marketplace with local vendors offering handmade goods, Celtic-themed merchandise, and artisanal foods. Visitors can explore stalls and learn about the history of various clans. Camping options are available for those wishing to extend their experience, fostering a sense of community. Whether for music, food, games, or cultural experiences, this festival promises an unforgettable celebration of Celtic heritage. RV sites and overnight camping are available.
