Maps are so passe', like who needs 'em anyway. The cars all have a GPS and so what if you just drove past the site of one of the country's worst known serial killers childhood home because your GPS map wasn't zoomed out far enough to show cherished landmark that was just a block away. Shoulda been tipping your Uber driver better. But hey, it's not too late to save some money on your home &/or auto insurance with me. I believe that I'll have to come up with something interesting here for the 16 or 19 friends out there following my side page. It must really be worse than watching paint dry and much less interesting than watching your outdoor thermometer go pinballing 50 degrees up & down on a daily basis. I'm on it fans.

Dear Facebook Ads team, No I don't wish to do as you ask of me. I don't want to "write a post for people viewing my "Making Topo Maps & competing with a gekco for their insurance needs" page. So, NO. Go tell your boss to stop trying to run peoples lives for them. Your sentiment is gleefully appreciated, but no thank you. Stick to taking orders from Russian Oligarchs, and keep those friend-versary's coming because they must have been the brain child of some highly connected stock holders kid who was told he got promoted. I've been riding the swells of opinion as to whether to even keep on having a page here on FB, so YOU, every government with enough GPD to hire a few hackers, healthcare corporations, schools of "higher education", politico's, my next boss or maybe yours can keep tabs on what I eat, who I like, who I love or hate & every other little thing that I thought I was sharing with human beings that I know, once knew or may someday want to know. And now I hear whispers that any & every personal picture/photo I've ever posted here, shared or was in, are to become no longer MY property. Sure, why not, I was dumb enough to put them out there believing the whole wide world was still everything I was ever told it was or hoped it would be. But, NO- it's just really a mad, mad, mad, mad, mad, mad sh*tty world. And NO, I do not wish to make a post on this page I created. I just like looking at it. Nobody is bugging DiVinci or Rembrandt or Fredo Kahlo to constantly go back to a masterpiece they created and update with a new POST for "people" to come see to make themselves feel like they belong or whatever. Go out and make something, but quit reminding me that I'm inadequately not serving someone else's needs. Later.

Okay, okay-so I haven't been employed in the mapping field since last summer as the technology has changed more than a little & believe me, the new ways are much faster, but nothing will replace how cool making topo maps on the almost antiquated Swiss Kern PG-2.
