Right place, right time.

I was out on the new Healing Trail at Hugh Chatham Health this morning enjoying the sunrise, and just a few hours later the community gathered for the official ribbon cutting.

The trail features a roughly 0.75-mile loop with several scenic coves and side paths. It's another great example of the investments being made to improve quality of life in Elkin.

Thank you to the Elkin Valley Trails Association and Hugh Chatham Health for helping create a space where people can walk, run, reflect, and enjoy the outdoors.
