When you see a young exhibitor in the show ring, you're witnessing the result of months of dedication, responsibility, and hard work, not just one week at the fair.
From carefully selecting an animal that fits their budget to providing daily care, building trust through training, maintaining detailed records, and preparing for fair week, every livestock project teaches valuable life skills. The journey doesn't end in the show ring either. The livestock auction gives exhibitors the opportunity to market their project, evaluate their financial success, and apply those lessons as they begin planning for next year's fair.
