When you sign into your rideshare app to start accepting rides, your personal auto insurance policy will no longer cover your vehicle because you're entering business use. While some rideshare companies (also known as transportation network companies, or TNCs) have insurance for their drivers, the coverage is very basic and deductibles are often high.

That's where rideshare insurance comes in! Ridesharing endorsements can be added on to your personal policy to help fill coverage gaps and offset high deductibles.

It's important to be aware of the possibility your personal coverage could be cancelled by your carrier based on Period 1 and/or Period 2 subject to your policy terms.
