In 2009, The Great Recession took hold of the world economy. Calm and collected, managing partner Jim Weddle led Edward Jones through this trying period by providing clients and associates with unprecedented levels of support and communication – including personalized letters from Weddle to each client. While other financial institutions folded, our firm did not let go of a single associate. It’s an important story in our company history – one of several told in the new book, The Business of America is Business, which marks our 100th anniversary this year.
