On January 1, 1993, Curneal-Pirtle, Inc. and Richards & Bowling, Inc., both of Elizabethtown, Kentucky merged their insurance agencies and formed Curneal & Hignite Insurance, Inc.
On July 1, 2007, Curneal Hignite became part of the Houchens family. Also in 2007, the agency acquired Heartland Insurance and in 2014, Tabb Insurance.
Our Elizabethtown team brings a wealth of knowledge and work ethic to our HIG family and fits right into our Nobody Works Harder mentality!
