For years, society pushed the idea that a four-year degree was the only respectable path. Meanwhile, electricians, plumbers, mechanics, and welders kept the lights on and the country running. Trade schools teach skill, discipline, and craftsmanship that you can see and measure. These careers build homes, repair communities, and support families without mountains of debt. Respect should not depend on the type of diploma hanging on the wall. Honest work is honorable work, no matter where you learned it. Recognizing that truth could change how we guide the next generation.
