Valentine Insurance Agency was honored to sponsor the Foundation for Focus House Annual Golf Play Day, held August 7, 2026, at Fairways Golf Course in Rochelle. This year’s outing was particularly meaningful to our agency as it honored the memory of James E. “Spud” Supancic. Following Spud’s passing, Valentine Insurance Agency was entrusted with continuing to serve his clients and the many relationships he built throughout the Rochelle community. We are grateful for that trust and proud to continue the tradition of personal service and community involvement that meant so much to him.

The Foundation for Focus House provides important programs and services to youth and families through prevention, counseling, education, mentoring, and community partnerships. We were proud to join other local businesses and organizations in supporting their work while also celebrating Spud’s memory.

We're hiring! Looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive

Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring that all insurance needs are met efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and have a solid understanding of commercial insurance products including Excess and Surplus Markets.

Responsibilities:

Manage and service a portfolio of commercial lines insurance accounts across Standard and E&S markets.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Process renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and new business applications accurately and efficiently.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell additional coverage to existing clients.
Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, resolve issues, and ensure seamless service.
Maintain accurate and organized client files and interactions in our agency management system.

Experience & Qualifications:

IL Property & Casualty license required.
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is required.
Strong knowledge of commercial lines insurance products and coverages. These include liability insurance, workers compensation, commercial auto, property insurance, specialty and E&S products among others.
Proven background in customer service with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in agency management systems (AMS360 preferred) and Microsoft Office products is a plus.
Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
Punctuality and reliability are essential for success in this role.
