This moment reminds me why I’m intentional about how I lead and what I build.
Titles come and go.Deals close. Seasons change.What lasts is the example you set when no one’s keeping score.

I think a lot about the kind of standards I’m passing down- how I treat people, how I handle pressure, how I show up when it’s inconvenient. Because leadership isn’t just about today’s results.

It’s about building something you’d be proud to explain years from now.

That’s the bar I hold myself to.
At work, and everywhere else.

I’ve been on teams that worked together. And I’ve been on teams that were proud of how they worked. There’s a difference.

Teamwork isn’t just dividing up tasks and hitting deadlines. It’s walking into a room and knowing the people around you care about how things get done especially when it’s hard.

The teams that last don’t just celebrate outcomes.

They take pride in:
- How they show up for each other
- How they handle pressure
- How they treat people when no one’s watching

That kind of pride changes things.

People speak up sooner. They step in without being asked. They protect the standard because it’s ours, not mine. That’s the kind of teamwork I care about building.Not just teams that deliverbut teams that can look back and say, we did this the right way.

How we work together matters as much as what we deliver.

It’s one of those places that naturally slows you down. You take your time, you stay present, and you appreciate what’s in front of you instead of rushing to what’s next.
Golf has a way of creating space for that, especially when you're with the right people.

Great course, no question. But the real value was the time, the conversations, and the shared experience.

But the part I’ll remember most wasn’t the rides or the attractions. It was the time together. Being present. Seeing everyone enjoy the moment without rushing to the next thing.
