Nobody wakes up excited to talk about life insurance.
But almost everybody has that moment where they realize:
“Wait… what actually happens to my family if something happens to me?”
That’s the part most people avoid thinking about.
Not because they don’t care.
But because they assume:
it’s expensive
complicated
something they’ll “handle later”
or that work/military benefits are enough
The truth?
Most families are one unexpected situation away from financial stress.
Life insurance isn’t about death.
It’s about making sure the people you love don’t inherit financial problems if life takes an unexpected turn.
And for veterans especially…
Many veterans don’t realize SGLI changes, coverage can end, and transition planning matters more than they were ever told.
This post is funny… but it’s also real.
If you’ve been putting this off, now’s probably the time to at least understand your options.
