Here's a number worth knowing: what would it actually cost to rebuild your house today, from the ground up?

Not what you paid for it. Not what Zillow says it's worth. What it would cost, in today's construction prices, to rebuild it if it were a total loss.

A lot of homeowners are underinsured on this exact number — because their policy hasn't been updated since the day they bought the house, and construction costs haven't stood still since then.

A few things that quietly change what you need:

Renovations — a kitchen remodel or added room raises your rebuild cost.
Rising material and labor costs — what it cost to rebuild in 2019 isn't what it costs now.
Personal property — new furniture, electronics, appliances since your policy was written.

If your dwelling coverage hasn't been looked at in a couple years, it's worth five minutes to check it against reality. We'll run the numbers with you — no cost, no pressure.

Quick test: could you explain what your business insurance actually covers, off the top of your head?

Most owners can't — and it's not their fault. Policies are written in insurance-speak, not plain English.

Here's the short version of what a typical business policy should address:

General liability — covers claims if someone's hurt on your property or by your work.
Property coverage — your building, equipment, inventory, signage.
Business interruption — covers lost income if you have to close temporarily (fire, storm, etc.).
Workers' comp — required in most states if you have employees.

The problem isn't usually that business owners are uninsured. It's that they're insured for what they had three years ago, not what they have now.

Know what you're covered for. If you don't, that's a five-minute conversation, not a sales pitch.

Real talk: when's the last time you looked at your auto policy? Not the bill — the actual coverage.

Most people set it once when they bought the car and never touch it again. Meanwhile your car got older, you added a driver, you started commuting further, or you paid it off and dropped full coverage you might still need.

Three things worth checking today:

Liability limits — Texas minimums are lower than what most people actually need if there's a real accident.
Who's on the policy — new driver in the house? New car? That changes your rate and your risk.
Discounts you're not getting — bundling, safe driver, low mileage.

Carriers don't call you to tell you these exist. A five-minute review can mean the difference between "covered" and "technically covered."

Pull up your declarations page. If you can't explain what's on it, that's exactly what we're here for.

Here's something we see a lot: people end up with the life insurance policy an agent wanted to sell them — not the one that actually fits their life.

That's not always anyone's fault. A lot of agents only offer one or two products, so that's what you get, whether or not it matches what you actually need.

Our job isn't to sell you a policy. It's to educate you first — then help you find the right coverage, if any, for where you're at.

Here's the simple version: the more financial responsibility you carry — a mortgage, kids, a business, a spouse who depends on your income — the more coverage you likely need. It's not about scaring you into buying more. It's about making sure the people who depend on you are actually protected.

We're offering a free life insurance analysis for anyone who wants a second opinion on what they have (or doesn't have yet). No pressure, no pitch — just an honest look. Message us or give us a call. 📋

When's the last time you actually sat down with your insurance company?

Not a renewal email. Not an auto-pay notice. An actual conversation.

Most small business owners we talk to haven't updated their revenue or payroll numbers with their insurer in years — even though those numbers are exactly what your coverage is based on. If your business has grown (or changed) since you signed up, there's a good chance your policy hasn't kept up with it.

And if you lease your space? There's an even bigger blind spot: most tenants have never actually had their lease reviewed for what they're responsible for insuring. Landlords often require specific coverage minimums and proof of insurance — and it's easy to miss.

We're offering a free, no-pressure policy assessment for small business owners in El Paso. No sales pitch — just a second set of eyes on what you have.

Send us a message or give us a call to set it up. 📋

We're hiring an Insurance Sales Specialist. El Paso. Full-time, on-site.

Straight talk about what this is: it's a sales job. You'll prospect, you'll call, you'll handle objections, and you'll ask for the business. It is not a service or receptionist role, and we're not going to pretend otherwise in the ad and surprise you in week two.

What we're looking for: at least one year of client-facing sales. Insurance, financial services, auto, real estate, telecom — anywhere you carried a quota and hit it.

Base salary plus uncapped commission and bonuses. Range $36,400–$100,000; where you land in it depends on what you sell.

Licensed is great. Not licensed is fine — we'll walk you through getting there.

Real talk: "full coverage" doesn't mean everything 🚗

There's no policy that covers literally everything. "Full coverage" usually just means liability + collision + comprehensive together. Knowing what's actually included is what protects you.
