Today I had the opportunity to host a CalPERS Retirement Workshop for Imperial Classified School Employees, helping our local school employees better understand their pension and prepare for their financial future.

One thing I always encourage people to consider when choosing someone to help with retirement planning is to understand what licenses that person holds.

Someone who is only insurance licensed may be limited to insurance products. Working with someone who is also securities licensed can provide access to a broader range of retirement and investment options.

The goal should always be to look at your individual situation, goals, pension and available options — and then determine what solution may be appropriate for you, rather than starting with a particular product.

Today our Maeda Insurance Services team had the opportunity to host a Staff Appreciation Taco Truck event at Lincoln Elementary School! We loved spending time with such an amazing group of educators and staff and saying thank you for everything you do for students and our community every day.

Today the Maeda Insurance Services team had the privilege of hosting a Carne Asada Staff Appreciation lunch for the incredible staff at Kennedy Middle School!
