The El Campo Museum of Natural History is pleased to announce that Karen Adam has accepted the position of Museum Director.

Karen brings nearly three decades of professional experience, including more than 25 years in leadership and management with Aetna/CVS Health. Throughout her career, she led teams, managed day-to-day operations, developed employees, worked within a highly regulated environment, and coordinated projects and programs involving both local and offshore teams.

After 28 years in the corporate world, Karen is excited to bring her leadership experience, organizational skills, and love for the El Campo community to the museum.

“I am truly honored and excited to accept the role of Director of the El Campo Museum of Natural History. The museum is such a special part of our community, and I look forward to building on everything that has been accomplished here while finding new ways to bring people through our doors. I’m especially excited about expanding programs and events, strengthening community partnerships, and helping make the museum a place where families, children, and visitors continue to learn, explore, and make memories.”

Karen looks forward to working with the museum’s board, volunteers, community partners, members, and supporters as the museum begins this next chapter.

Please join us in welcoming Karen Adam as Director of the El Campo Museum of Natural History!
