Life sometimes places unexpected challenges in our path, and today I'd like to share something very personal with each of you.
Earlier this year, my 11-year-old grandson, Dax, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Dax continues to inspire us every day with his courage, resilience, and unwavering spirit. While the road ahead is uncertain, our family remains committed to fighting alongside him and holding tightly to hope.
In honor of Dax and all children battling cancer, I am participating in The Million Mile with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, a nationwide fundraising and awareness campaign dedicated to fighting childhood cancer for the month of September. Every dollar raised helps bring us one step closer to better treatments and, ultimately, cures for children facing these devastating diagnoses. As we enter the home stretch of this fundraiser, I wanted to open this fundraiser to the agency for anyone who would like to donate in honor of Dax.
