Really grateful to Coach Steve Lutz for taking the time to speak to the Rotary Club of Edmond yesterday and give us an inside look at Oklahoma State Basketball.

This one was especially meaningful for me. During my time at Oklahoma State, I had the opportunity to work as a student manager for the basketball program. That experience taught me so much about hard work, dedication, and what can happen when you’re willing to work toward something bigger than yourself.

It was pretty special to be back in a room talking Cowboy Basketball and hearing Coach Lutz share his vision for the program and, even more importantly, his commitment to developing young men on and off the court.

Thank you, Coach Lutz, for your time. Go Pokes!

Higher Treasury yields weighed on equities last week, renewing concerns about whether the economy and markets can withstand elevated rates. Despite the potential for seasonal volatility, resilient economic activity and strong corporate earnings support a constructive backdrop for equities.

Investment Strategist Brock Weimer explains what’s behind the move higher in long-term yields in the latest Weekly Market Wrap.

Grateful for the opportunity to have served as President of the Rotary Club of Edmond and even more grateful for the people I’ve had the chance to serve alongside. This club and this community mean a lot to me. Proud to be a Rotarian and excited for what’s ahead!

Leading the Way Wednesday

This week, we're proud to recognize Hunter Cottle, our Immediate Past President of the Rotary Club of Edmond.

Hunter served as Club President during the 2025-2026 Rotary year, helping lead our club through a year focused on service, connection, and positive impact in our community. His leadership style reflects what Rotary is all about: bringing people together to make a difference and leaving things better than we found them.

Originally from Texas, Hunter attended Oklahoma State University, where he earned his business degree and met his wife, Carly. Together they are raising two wonderful children, Finley and Hudson, who keep life full of joy, laughter, and adventure.

Professionally, Hunter serves as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones, helping individuals and families build confidence in their financial future. Whether working with clients, serving through Rotary, or supporting our community, Hunter is driven by a simple goal: investing in people and helping others succeed.

One of the things that sets Hunter apart is his passion for sharing Rotary with others. He does an incredible job inviting guests, helping prospective members learn more about our club, and creating opportunities for people to get involved. His enthusiasm for Rotary and genuine care for others continue to strengthen our club and our community.

Thank you, Hunter, for your leadership, your service, and the example you set for all of us. We're grateful for the impact you've made and continue to make both within Rotary and throughout Edmond.

The S&P 500 reached new highs as several key market headwinds began to ease. While record levels can make investors hesitant, history suggests that all-time highs have often been followed by continued gains, with long-term returns comparable to, or even better than, investing on a typical trading day.*

The Federal Reserve held rates steady as earnings from four Magnificent 7 companies led to mixed market reactions, suggesting that investors increasingly want evidence that AI spending is translating into durable revenue and earnings growth. While interest rates may remain higher for longer, resilient economic growth, strong corporate earnings and broader participation across sectors continues to support equities.

Brian Therien, Investment Strategist, explains what this means and how this could impact investors in the latest Weekly Market Wrap.
