But in all seriousness... don’t be a victim of phone scams! Scammers are always looking for ways to defraud you. Stay safe by being skeptical of calls, especially that you receive out of the blue. If you ever receive an unexpected phone call - don’t share any confidential information, hang up and call the bank back directly.

A few other common few red flags to look out for are unusual caller IDs, callers using scare tactics or threats, and requests for personal information.

We had a blast volunteering with Cavett Kids Foundation last week! Our Team served pizza, drinks, and smiles as the kids were getting checked in for Camp Cavett, their largest camp of the year.

Cavett Kids strives to develop character, coping, and connection for kids battling life-threatening illnesses. Their free camps and year-round programs provide a safe place for kids to connect and have fun, while still receiving the medical care they need.

Through our Giving Vision we give at least 10% of our profits to local nonprofits. Valor is proud to be able to come alongside those, like Cavett Kids, making a difference and help provide the means for them to continue their work. 💙

Our very own Wesley Anderson had the honor of being the keynote speaker at the OU Price College of Business’s JCPenney Leadership Program commencement ceremony a few weeks ago! He reflected on what it was like to be a graduate from the program 20 years ago and shared a few fun statistics over what the next 20 years could bring for the graduates. He also encouraged them to embrace the uncertainties in life and find ways to give back to their communities. We are thankful to have an incredible team of bankers who are passionate about serving others and investing in our future leaders.

We had a blast "Teeing Up For A Good Cause" at HOPE Center of Edmond's first ever Topgolf Tournament! ⛳ Congrats are also in order for our very own Caleb Coldwater, who snagged the title of Longest Drive! 🏆

The HOPE Center serves our community by offering food packages, clothing, health resources, and more to our neighbors in need. We are thankful for the opportunity to support the HOPE Center, and organizations like them, by joyfully giving at least 10% of our profits to local nonprofits in our community! 💙
