Even a GIANT in the athleisure industry can lose its spot at the table.

This news took me by surprise if I'm being totally honest. There's a distinction about what this means. The S&P 100 removing Nike just means that people aren't buying up much Nike stock anymore. They are still considered at the table for the S&P 500 though, probably with their tail tucked a little bit lol. They said Nike is NOT meeting the standard that the S&P 100 has established.

What could they possibly do to make their comeback? What celebrity do you think they're going to collab with, to try to drive up the value? 👀

Anyway. Carry on 😂 I just wanted to pop on here and see if anyone had any thoughts on this.

Sickness, injury, or an unexpected diagnosis can interrupt your ability to earn an income due to a covered disability event—even if the rest of your financial strategy is in great shape.
Many people don't discover gaps in their income protection until they're forced to rely on it.
Let's review your current income protection.

Read about what individual disability insurance is, and how this private coverage from NYL can offer personal income protection in the event of a disability.

You save consistently. You have coverage through work. By most measures, may be ahead of the curve.
But if a covered disability event prevented you from working—not permanently, just long enough to matter—would your plan hold up?
Many people with a solid financial plan haven't actually answered that question.
Let's review your current income protection.

The mortgage. The tuition. The retirement contributions. Your lifestyle may depend on your income.
If a covered disability event prevented you from working, would your current coverage be enough to keep everything on track?
For many people, employer disability benefits leave a gap between what's covered and what's needed.
That's a gap worth understanding before life puts it to the test.

There's more financial advice out there for young people than ever—and somehow, that's making things harder, not easier. Trends like ""girl math"" and ""no-spend"" months turn budgeting into a game or a punishment, when what most young people actually need is a plan.
I'm sharing an article that gets into why all this noise is landing the way it is—and what actually helps cut through it.

The mortgage. The car. The kids' school. Your income may be what keeps all of it moving.
But if a covered disability event prevented you from working, would your current coverage be enough to keep everything else on track?
Many employer disability plans replace around half your salary, before taxes. For many people, that's not enough to protect the life you've worked hard to build.

The irony for many high earners isn't that they've ignored their finances—it's that they've been meticulous about everything except the source.
The investments are diversified. The estate plan is drafted. The insurance covers the house, the car, the valuables. But if their income stopped because of a covered disability event, how long would any of it hold?
That's the question many financial plans do not ask. It's worth finding out whether yours has an answer.
