Our children learn a lot of things there but many that they will never need or use or remember. How to manage finances, how to be in gratitude and be happy, how to take care of health, all the most important life essentials are ignored. Why, who knows? And that sadly turns into a nightmare for so many of our children. Depression, poverty, irresponsibility, feeling helpless, all these are things th

at can be prevented to most extent if we teach them about basics at the young age by sowing the right seeds. And that is why this program is being started, of educating our children. We have done classes in the past for kids/children. But somehow we discontinued. The inspiration to restart came at a seminar just yesterday when I saw and heard so many people who are grown up yet broke. What causes that, what is missing, and the conclusion was the same every time. It's our educational foundation. While reasons can be many, and sometimes out of our control, often the reason comes down to lack of few disciplines., few wrong beliefs. Sad part was, the presenters were upselling lots of expensive programs and encouraging thru examples to borrow on credit card or by whatever means to pay them to learn. While some will benefit for sure, most who buy will do nothing meaningful. And they will be further broke and disappointed because old habits and beliefs will kick in. Want your child to be a part of this educational program? Want them to be financially rich? Want them to grow up with hope? Have them become a part of this. And see the difference. We are setting a goal of helping 1000 children this year in 2023. There will be 2 separate classes, age group of 10-13 yr old kids, and 14-17yr old kids. The investment will be $150 for six, 1.5 hour sessions. 100% of the proceeds will go to charity. The sessions will be FREE for any child or parent who cannot afford to pay. We tried this in April but couldn't kick it off due to kid's schools and activities. Trying it again. Classes start July 8th.

Calling on all parents.
If your children listen to you and if you are instilling all the important things in them congratulations, please bypass this.
For most others, children will take same advise from outside much better and faster than from parents. True with all of us, we take our closed ones for granted. Ask the President, and he will say the same thing about his wife and children and close ones. That is the sad truth.
And that is where this program comes in. Outsider, valued more, better results.
STARTING FIRST WEEK OF MARCH BUT ONLY IF WE HAVE MINIMUM SIX CHILDREN IN EACH SESSION TO MAKE IT MORE IMPACTFUL FOR THE CHILDREN.

Interested in helping grow your child with things that matter in life the most? Our goal will be just that, to impart the values and basic finance skills that matter. The topics we will touch during the 6 weeks will cover Gratitude, internal happiness, thinking positive, respecting parents, healthy habits, saving and investing, becoming financially independent at a young age, becoming a giver in life, etc.
These classes can only be successful with help of parents as that is where this all starts and ends. We will simply be catalysts for them to think differently.
There is a $150 fee for the class AND 100% of that will be donated to charity. Free rarely has value or commitment and that's why this fee. However, we do understand that some parents may not have the extra money right now to make this happen. It's OK, for those kids, the program will be FREE with a promise to pay it forward whenever the circumstances allow.
Any and all volunteers who want to help make a difference are welcome as we grow with this. Share your skills with us/children and the desire to help, we will find a way to use them.
I am often asked why volunteer, what's in it for you, do you have so much time? If there is anything in it for us, it's business, not true volunteering. And time is made for great things, otherwise there is never any time. Above all, nothing beats giving our time selflessly. Life is not always about money, can't be. And that is one of the things we will teach, the joy of giving without expecting in return. Our country is blessed with so many volunteers in so many organizations. Hats off to all of them for their selfless giving.

Imagine this!
You help your child learn some great basic lessons of life including respecting parents, gratitude, saving and investing for future to retire rich etc AND you get to donate the money to a charity too. A win win indeed.
Yes, our On Track Financial Literacy program for children will do just that. The fee will go 100% towards charity.
Why not make it free if we will donate it all? Because free does not have any value nor commitment. Also habit of free ties us down and prevents us from doing our very best. In this program, we will be instilling the power of giving, not the power of taking.
That said, there will be FREE welcome for those who simply can't afford to pay today for the child. For those children, this will be a pay forward program. They will pay forward in the future whenever they become financially wealthy which they will before they know it.

Good things must not take time to execute.
While we put together the curriculum, here is the tentative plan.
We will kick off these classes from 1st week of March, every Saturday. The junior class will be from 11-12.30PM, senior class will be from 1-2.30PM. The classes will be in person and will be limited to 25 students per class. Initially, we start these at the On Track Realty office but may change the location based on the enrollment.
Interested in seeing your child become successful in school?Financially independent by the time they are 45/50? A successful entrepreneur? In gratitude and happy? That will be our goal thru this program. Sadly, these most important things are not in the schools.
