Now here’s a holiday we can all get behind. Today is National Donut 🍩 Day – a holiday celebrated on the first Friday of June here in the United States. And for a good reason. started in 1938 as a fundraiser by the in Chicago to honor volunteers who served donuts to soldiers fighting in World War I.

Even today, National Donut Day is still used as a fundraiser for The Salvation Army USA

Spring Cleaning 🧽 Tip #11: Is your refrigerator in need of a little TLC? We’ve got you covered with some tips to help it shine inside and out.

✅ Check expiration dates and toss anything that is past its prime.
✅ Wipe down shelves to remove dirt and spills.
✅ Deodorize by placing an open box of baking soda inside your fridge.
✅ Wipe down and sanitize the outside of the refrigerator.
✅ Unplug to vacuum the condenser coils to remove dust build-up to keep it running efficiently.

And lastly, while you are at it, sort the remaining items into categories (dairy🥛🧀, fruit 🍓🍇🍎, veggies🥕🧅🥦, etc.) for easier organization.
