I’m Leslie!

I’ve lived in Eden Prairie since 1997, originally hailing from St. Paul. My family includes four incredible adult children (three boys and a girl), two wonderful daughters-in-law, my supportive life partner Paul, and two loving Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Lucy and Izzy.

This year, I embraced the new chapter of being an empty nester. While we prepare our kids for adulthood, we often forget to prepare ourselves—but that’s where my faith sustains me. My life revolves around my motto: Faith, Family, Friends, with my Christian faith as my foundation.

With 25 years in the mortgage industry, I’m passionate about helping people. I recently returned to Superior Financing, where my career began in 1999, transitioning back to the wholesale mortgage market. Mortgage rates aren’t tied directly to the Fed funds rate. They move with the bond market, which moves on economic data.

We already saw rates improve in anticipation of today’s Fed meeting.

Last week, we saw rates at an average of 6.2% - lowest level in nearly 18 months. Compare that to the peak of 7.8% percent…
