This past weekend, we had a great day at Wagner's Lanes and The Complexx in Eau Claire for Chippewa Valley Energy's 4th Annual Charity Volleyball Outing 🏐☀️

We were proud to be the title sponsor and couldn’t be happier to support such a well-run event for an even better cause. Huge credit to Chippewa Valley Energy, the organizers, sponsors, and everyone who showed up to make it a success. Events like this are what make the Chippewa Valley such a great place to do business and give back.

Something wicked this way comes … but it’s not a ghost — it’s flu season! Don't let the flu haunt you this fall. Follow these tips to stay healthy and avoid getting spooked by sniffles.

👻Cover coughs & sneezes. They can travel up to 100 mph! Use a tissue or your elbow.
👻Wash your hands often. Scrub with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
👻Keep your hands off your face. Germs love sneaking in through the eyes, nose, and mouth.
👻Clean high-touch surfaces. Bacteria can double every 20 minutes. Wipe down phones, doorknobs, and light switches regularly.
👻Prioritize self-care. Sleep well, eat nourishing foods, stay hydrated, and manage stress.
👻Protect those at risk. Pay extra attention if you’re over 50, pregnant, have young kids, or have chronic conditions.

Medicare Annual Enrollment is in full swing, and it’s Medicare enrollees’ main opportunity to adjust coverage to fit current needs.

Whether you're reviewing options for yourself or a loved one, here are some important dates to know:

✅ December 7th - Deadline to enroll and make changes to the upcoming year. Be sure your enrollment form for a chosen plan is received by this date.

✅ January 1st - New coverage starts, and any changes made in annual enrollment take effect. If you kept your plan the same, updates to costs or benefits also begin today.
