Ashlee loves plants and flowers of all kinds! Whether it's growing them, caring for them, or simply enjoying their beauty, she has a love for all things floral! 🌻🌿

✈️ What is her dream vacation?
Ashlee couldn't pick just one! Her dream destinations include Ireland, Greece, and Turkey! From beautiful landscapes to incredible history and culture, she has some amazing places on her travel wish list!

😂 If Ashlee were a sitcom character, what would her catchphrase be?

"Hear what I mean, NOT what I say!"

Now, with seven kids at home, we can only imagine how often that phrase comes in handy! 🤣

🌟 Getting to Know Ashlee Rickert! 🌟

Ashlee grew up in West Alexandria, Ohio, and graduated two years early from a homeschool program in 2003!

Before joining the Simon Insurance family, Ashlee gained years of valuable experience in organization and management while working for a local auction house. She then took on one of the biggest and most rewarding jobs of all — becoming a stay-at-home mom to SEVEN children! ❤️ Yes, you read that right… SEVEN! Talk about knowing how to multitask, stay organized, and handle just about anything life throws your way! 😂

Ashlee joined our team two years ago and has since earned her Property & Casualty Insurance License. She has now stepped into her newest role as our DOFI — Director of First Impressions! 🌟

With her friendly personality, organizational skills, and years of experience juggling a busy household, Ashlee is a wonderful addition to our team and one of the first smiling faces you'll see when you visit our office!

When we asked Ashlee what advice she would give her 18-year-old self, her response was one we could all learn from:

💗 "Happiness and joy are choices, not circumstantial."

What a wonderful reminder that our outlook on life can make all the difference!

Teresa always had a smile on her face. And while it could sometimes take a little convincing to get her to cut loose and join in on the fun, once she did, we know she always had a good time! ❤️ These pictures bring back so many memories of laughter, celebrations, friendship, and simply enjoying life together.

Looking back through these photos reminds us just how many moments we shared over the years. We are incredibly grateful for every laugh, every story, every celebration, and every ordinary day that became a special memory simply because Teresa was part of it.

More than 32 years together gave us a lifetime of memories.

As many of you know, we recently lost our dear friend and coworker, Teresa Thompson. Our hearts are still heavy as we try to navigate this tremendous loss.

We wanted to take a moment to share some special pictures of Teresa from over the years and celebrate the many memories we were blessed to make with her.

Teresa was a proud graduate of Eaton High School and dedicated more than 32 years to Simon Insurance. During those years, she became so much more than a coworker—she was family, a friend, and an important part of the lives of so many people who walked through our doors.

These pictures represent just a small glimpse of the laughter, friendships, celebrations, and memories we shared with Teresa throughout the years.

32 years of dedication. A lifetime of memories. A friend who will never be forgotten.

It is a very sad day here at Simon Insurance. Our hearts are broken as we share the devastating news that we have lost a very special member of our Simon Insurance family.

Teresa Thompson passed away yesterday at The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus after her courageous battle with cancer.

Teresa was so much more than a coworker—she was our friend, our family, and a very important part of who we are. Her presence, her strength, her laughter, and the memories we shared with her will forever be a part of Simon Insurance.

Right now, we are truly without words as we try to process this tremendous loss.

We ask that you please keep Teresa’s family, friends, and everyone who loved her in your thoughts and prayers. We also ask for your patience and understanding with our Simon Insurance family in the days ahead as we grieve and work through this difficult time together.

Teresa, you will be deeply missed and forever loved. ❤️
