With decades of experience in law enforcement, intelligence, and homeland security, Kirk has dedicated his career to protecting Georgia's communities and strengthening our state's preparedness. In his new role, he will oversee Homeland Security Operations, Intelligence, and Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources (CIKR), helping lead statewide efforts to enhance security, resilience, and coordination across all levels of government.

Before this appointment, Kirk served as GEMA/HS Homeland Security Operations Manager and previously held the roles of Intelligence Unit Supervisor and Area 8 Homeland Security Coordinator. Before joining the agency, he spent nearly 18 years as a Special Agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and also served as a civilian law enforcement advisor with the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division in Afghanistan. The MSB Junior Board of Directors conducted their raffle drawing last evening. Today, the junior directors will be engaged in contacting the 14 winners and delivering their prizes. A sincere appreciation is extended to all participants who purchased tickets and to the generous donors who contributed to this initiative. Dodge is a great community!

MSB Junior Board of Directors drew winners for their February Raffle. The winners of the prizes donated by wonderful local businesses were: Todd McDermitt, Ellie Rogers, Jonnie May, Dawn Rutland, Wendy Rogers, Alex Cane, Jodi Bazemore, Randy Gilbert, Dale Giddens, Johnny Rowland, and Tucker Rogers.
Thanks to everyone who donated and those who purchased tickets. This project supported three local ministries: Bridges of Hope, Ladies House of Refuge, and Bruised Reed Ministries. Thanks to our great community for your support.

It’s that time of year for 1Oth, 11th and 12 graders of DCHS to apply for position on the Magnolia State Bank's Junior Board of Directors. School Counselors have the applications. New term will be 2025-26 school year. Applications must be turned in by March 21.
