America’s wealth divide is increasingly a generational one. The result is that older Americans may have more capacity to give to their children and grandchildren than ever before.

Many would rather give the money now, when it can help with a house, child care or other major expenses, than leave it behind after they die.

Everyone needs people who see the best in them—even on the days they can't see it themselves.

The kind of people who remind you of your strength when you're doubting yourself.

Who remind you of your worth when you're tempted to settle.

Who remind you of your dreams when fear makes you want to play small.

And who lovingly tell you, "This isn't like you. You are capable of more."

Those people are rare. Keep them close.

And just as importantly, be that person for someone else.

Be the friend who speaks life into another woman. Celebrate her wins. Encourage her when she is struggling. Remind her of what she's capable of when she forgets.

Sometimes, the right words from the right person can change everything.

May we all have women around us who remind us of our worth and may we be those women for others. 💜
