We had yet another person come in with a 6 month policy purchased from one of the Big TV insurance company's 10 minute call centers. They had coverage limits so *dangerously low* we won't even sell them, and they were charging almost $2,500 a year for it.

We were able to give them 10 times their current property damage coverage and more than double their other coverages for less money. No exaggeration.

While many people consider it rude to merge this way, it’s actually the recommended way. It’s far more efficient and safer than everyone getting in a single line as soon as possible. Even state departments of transportation recommend the “zippering” approach. In fact, it's even the law in some states. Here's an explanation from AAA:
