📢 Important Update for Our South Carolina State Farm Customers
If you recently received an email or text asking you to re-sign your Selection/Rejection forms, don’t be alarmed — it’s legitimate.
State Farm is transitioning South Carolina auto policies from separate policy numbers for each vehicle to multi-car policies, where your vehicles will be grouped together under one policy number.
Because this change creates a new policy number, South Carolina requires these forms to be signed again.
✅ Your coverages are not changing
✅ Your liability limits are not changing
✅ Your discounts are not changing
✅ Your payments are not changing
You’re simply being asked to re-sign forms you’ve completed before as part of the policy-number transition.
Customers are receiving these requests as their policies come up for renewal, so not everyone will receive them at the same time.
