Medicare Annual Enrollment starts today, October 15, and runs through December 7. This is the window to change a Medicare Advantage or Part D plan for 2027. It's a separate window from the Marketplace, and the two get mixed up every year. If you'd like to go through your options, I sit down with people in person or by phone and take the parts in order. Renewal notices mail in October

Insurers mail 2027 renewal notices in October. Whether you're on a Marketplace plan, a Medicare plan or a small group plan, that envelope tells you what changes on January 1. Don't set it aside. Open it, read the premium and the plan changes, and if anything in it is unclear, bring it to me. Have you heard the big news about Flexible Spending Arrangements (FSAs) for the 2024 plan year?

📈 Here’s the scoop:

- In 2024, you can allocate up to $3,200 from your payroll to your FSA. That's an increase of $150 from 2023!
- The best part? These contributions are exempt from federal income tax, Social Security tax, and Medicare tax. 💰

👥 For couples: If your spouse also has a plan, you could potentially double this amount! Plus, if your FSA plan allows, you can carry over up to $640 of unused amounts into 2025.
