Some relief from State Farm in premiums for shelter-in-place. Every little bit helps!

State Farm is slashing premiums owed on 40 million vehicles, making it the latest carrier to offer consumers a financial-relief program as auto claims have plunged under shelter-at-home restrictions.

Here are some things to be aware of due to our recent local seismic event. Earthquake coverage is not part of a standard homeowners policy in Idaho. If elected, the Earthquake endorsement will typically increase premiums by 1.5-3 times the standard rate depending on exact location and building specifics. Be sure to call your insurance provider if you have specific questions or concerns about your policy or want to talk about the coverage you currently have in place. Stay safe and be well!

As the spread of COVID-19 continues to affect our community, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue all non-emergency in-person appointments and walk-in services. Given the new developments and information available on the virus and the crucial nature of social distancing, we felt we could not delay in doing our part to help flatten the curve in support of our local healthcare system.

My Team and I will continue to be available during regular business hours by telephone and email, and will use the technology we have to be sure we are able to transact all lines of business, state transfers, new applications, payments, claims, and other service needs. We apologize for the inconvenience but adjusting our operations is a necessary step in support of our community efforts to limit the spread and reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
