Eagle Coin is Always Buying Bullion!

I have bought a lot of metal over the last 2 days since the coin show! And one thing I'm consistently hearing from customers is "We come to you because you are the most fair". I've had customers the last few days from Emmett, Nampa, McCall and Twin Falls. Customers from all over the Treasure Valley, and all over the state.

One thing they've all had in common, they all called around, and wound up coming to Eagle Coin!

Eagle Coin is not another pawn shop. Nor another "We Buy Gold" place with no inventory on display. Eagle Coin specializes in quality collector coins, but makes an emphasis on fair and transparent dealings on everyday bullion!

COIN SHOW WEEK!

Today (Wednesday) this is the last day that the shop will be open this week. You can find me on Friday and Saturday, at the Boise Coin Show, at the Riverside Hotel.

Normal hours of operation at the shop will resume next Monday.

Errors!

Here at Eagle Coin, we love to deal in REAL error coins. For example, this double clipped planchet 1984-D quarter.

Unfortunately, poorly written online articles, click bait tictoks, and substance abusing individuals looking for their next payday in pocket change have ruined "errors" for most brick-and-mortar coin shops. (I could rant for a long time on this 😅).

Lincoln cents with "L touching the edge".
"Floating roof" cents
"No Mint mark" coins (there are a few legitimate examples, but these are rare)
These are just a few examples of the commonly expressed fake errors. These are not real errors, and have no real value.

Also, coins picked up in the parking lot that look like they've been run over by a truck, are not errors.

I've included pages from the Red Book covering errors. These are examples of legitimate errors, that have value above the typical coin.

I've got about a hundred of these brand new Idaho 1 Goldbacks!

These always seem to sell well, and they're not a product I often have in store.

This is the first year that they've done these for Idaho!

NEW ARRIVALS!

Between Central States, Denver and coins coming back from grading / CAC, there's been a massive turnover in inventory! All sorts of new goodies.

Here's a sample of items that I either brought back with me from Denver. Or, got back from CAC while I was away.
