When it comes to insurance, many performers don’t think about it until an event/venue asks for a COI. Here are some mistakes you could be making that a lot of people don’t realize until it’s too late:

1. Waiting until the last minute for insurance
2. Using the wrong type of policy
3. Not reading the event/venue contract fully
4. Forgetting your coverage has exclusions
5. Assuming “nothing will happen”

Your event is tomorrow…but your COI never came! You try refreshing your inbox, calling the venue, and even calling our office…but our office is closed. Pause! Your COI might not be missing. It could be hiding! Don’t panic, and check your spam/junk folder. 99% of the time…it’s there. Saves you time (and stress). Saves us time. We all win! We’re always happy to check and/or resend documents, but knowing where to find them when we’re closed can bring peace of mind in those urgent situations.

Drew is an open-format DJ — Top 40, house, hip hop, country, whatever the room needs. Every event is handled directly by him, from the planning call to the last song. No rotating DJs, no surprises. He specialize in bachelor and bachelorette parties, corporate events, and private gatherings. Last summer he held residencies at Life Time North Scottsdale and Life Time Fashion Square, and he currently holds a weekly residency at The Social on 83rd in Peoria. He also regularly perform at Estelle in Scottsdale.
