The third question is the one most homebuyers forget to ask.

Rates and closing timelines matter, but so does knowing how your mortgage broker will communicate when the process gets complicated, deadlines get tight, or something unexpected comes up.

As a family-owned business, we’re committed to making the mortgage process feel clear, personal, and as stress-free as possible. We take the time to answer your questions, shop your options, and keep you informed from your first conversation through closing day.

That commitment is why we’re so honored to be nominated for Best of Durango 2026.

If you’ve worked with us and felt supported along the way, we’d be incredibly grateful for your vote. Vote for us through the link in our bio!

Pretending we know how to handle all this fame. 😎

Seriously though, being nominated for Best Mortgage Company means the world to our little team. Thank you for believing in us and trusting us with one of the biggest moments of your life. 💙

If you’d like to help us out, we’d be honored to have your vote!

COMMUNITY SUPPORTING COMMUNITY

Today we’re celebrating something special.

When Jen Manganello closed on her loan with Mountain Goat Mortgage, it became the very first loan to generate a community donation through our partnership with The Durango Collective.

As a result, $500 has been donated to The Durango Collective to help create more opportunities for dance, movement, connection, and community right here in Durango.

This partnership was built on a simple belief: local business can be a force for good, and when we support one another, our entire community benefits.

Thank you, Jen, for being the first homeowner to help make an impact through this program. Your loan closing is helping create spaces where people can dance, create connect, celebrate, and belong.

Create • Connect • Celebrate • Community

Thank you to everyone who came out to our very first Community Happy Hour. At Mountain Goat Mortgage, celebrating community is at the heart of who we are. We loved gathering with familiar faces, meeting new friends, and spending the evening together. Thanks for being part of it. 🐐

This hits hard… the amount of business we pull in from just taking care of clients is overwhelming.
