I remember this MRE well, and this one forced me to use Tabasco sauce for the first time. Good news is I like Tabasco now!

These salty meat fingers were typically paired with “Western Beans” to complete the feel of an authentic barracks barbecue.

I can neither confirm or deny I have ever avoided the Flight Doc back in my AF flying days...
I do recall on Day One of UPT we got a medical brief from the Doc, and right after he left the room our flight commander said something like, "Don't ever go to the flight doc! They'll take your flight status away!" Or something like that. Anyone else had a similar experience?

I've been to St. Goar, and it is refreshing seeing the German and American Army units working together for the good of the German community!
I enjoyed just about every minute when I was stationed in Germany (sometimes the short winter days got me a bit bummed)!

The small town of St. Goar lost significant tourist revenue when most American forces left the nearby Hahn Air Base in the 1990s, and the stone remnants had therefore been neglected for decades.
